Challenge
My relationship with GT Motive began in 2008 when I started my job as head of the network of CertifiedFirst workshops. It dawned on us immediately that the workshops had a need for estimate systems. It wasn't enough just to have a good tool, they also had to know how to use it correctly – both the tool itself and the different scales that can be used to create an estimate.
Solution
We contacted GT Motive and we were immediately given the chance to organise a series of training sessions with the CertifiedFirst network of workshops at different locations around Spain. They were very informative sessions where attendees were able to get a good grasp of how to use the GT Estimate system. The initiative did not fizzle out there; later on, we developed an advanced training programme with actual vehicle repairs, demonstrating the high returns on PPG products to workshops when estimates were done correctly.
Results
This initiative was regarded as very positive by the workshops of the network and has been maintained for several years right up to the present day.
