Chairman and Chief Executive
Ángel Martínez was appointed Chief Executive and Chairman of GT Motive in 2013. He joined the company in 1997 and has held several positions since then in both GT Motive and Grupo Einsa, mainly in the areas of management, marketing and sales.
His mission is to guide the company strategy and oversee its daily operations.
He offers a vision of service to fleet managers, automotive industry repairers and a broad range of actors involved in claims management. Ángel is working to ensure that the company's expansion is based on a solid position in the European market, combined with the dimension, technology and experience of our strategic partner and the US leader, Mitchell International.
Ángel Martínez holds a degree in marketing and business management, an international MBA and a master's in finance.
José María Castelo
José María Castelo joined GT Motive as Managing Director in 2006. Before then, he worked at several top companies in the insurance sector for 16 years, which gave him a solid, global insight into the insurance industry and its interactions with the automotive aftermarket and services.
In this role, José María Castelo will lead GT Motive in its pan-European expansion and in the development of new solutions and services for the automotive sector.
José María studied economics, specialising in actuarial science.
Deputy Director General
John joined GT Motive as Deputy Director General in April 2014.
He is also the Vice President of Global Market Development at Mitchell International, for which he has been working since 1994.
John has held different positions in the organization, leading teams in Product Delivery, Product Management, Marketing and Operation in Auto Physical Damage and Auto Casualty.Before joining Mitchell, John worked for the insurance industry in various roles in different departments.
John’s task at GT Motive is to support the internationalization of the company by adding new international partners and transfer expertise on WorkCenter regarding product and technology, by coordinating and supporting the implementation of this new tool in the market.
Senior Director of GT Motive Iberia
Antonio Osuna is Director of GT Motive Iberia and is responsible for the GT Motive strategy in all the sectors in which it operates, both on the Spanish and Portuguese markets.
Antonio is an industrial engineer with over 25 years' experience in the automotive sector and the areas of project management, technical information and assessment solutions.
Senior Director of International Business Development
Stephan Otto joined the company in 2010 with the mission of promoting the company's international expansion.
Stephan has over 20 years' experience at vehicle manufacturers and companies offering solutions and services for the automotive aftermarket in Europe.
Stephan is an automotive engineer.
María José Villagroy
Chief Financial Officer
Appointed Chief Financial Officer of the company in 2008, María José has worked in a number of industries.
She holds a degree in business studies and a master's in finance.
Director of Human Resources
Marian joined the company in 2008 as Human Resources Manager to develop human resources policies for Spain, France and Portugal. In 2013, as part of the international expansion strategy, she was promoted to Director of Human Resources.
Marian holds a degree in psychology and a master's in human resources management.
Product Management Director
Pablo joined the company in 2002 and has held several positions of responsibility at the company since then. In 2007, he was promoted to Product Manager and given responsibility for the definition of products and features, and project management.
He has over 12 years' experience in IT and IT systems for the automotive industry. He also has an excellent knowledge of the insurance industry, fleet management and repair in general.
Pablo is a computer science engineer and holds a master's in international business.
Chief Information Officer
Damien joined the company in 2008 as Systems Director and was promoted to CIO when GT Motive began its international expansion in 2013.
He is responsible for the security of the company computer systems and information with the goal of enhancing the strategic vision of GT Motive.
Damien holds a degree in computing and an MBA.
Chief Marketing and Operations Officer
Tomás was appointed to this position in March 2013 and will have pan-European responsibility for the launch of several marketing and operations projects as part of GT Motive's ambitious European expansion project following the strategic alliance with Mitchell International.
Tomás holds a degree and has completed several post-graduate programmes in business and insurance. He has an extensive knowledge of sales, marketing, operations, distributors, e-business and contact centres in the insurance industry. He has held positions of responsibility at companies such as Mondial Assistance, Direct seguros, AXA and Click Seguros in France, Portugal and Italy.
